Kimberly Peterson CFLE-P

Kimberly Peterson was born in Portland, Oregon during the groovy 1970s and continues to reside in the Pacific Northwest.  In the late 1980s, Kimberly’s grandmother enrolled her in art classes at a small studio where she learned drawing, oil painting, and other craft workshops.  Her works in oil were displayed in the McLeland art fair (participant award) as well as the Cowlitz County Fair and received Best in Division.

Kimberly prefers a mixed-media approach to art including watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, and collage. She attended art classes through Lower Community College as well as Clark College in Washington State and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage and Family Studies through Brigham Young University Idaho.

Kimberly serves as a volunteer Youth Mentor for the Clark County Juvenile Court and leads workshops using mixed media for the HELPS Program.
